Many groups and agencies are researching the
kaleidoscopic marine world around the Islands. Non-profit conservation
societies, fishing associations, government agencies and academic
researchers are a few of the many who are engaged in discovering and
documenting observations from seabird colonies to herring spawn to
oceanography to climate change.
Contact information for some of these groups and
links to their websites are included here. In future, we intend to
expand these pages to include more detailed information about specific
projects and publications resulting from marine research around the
Islands.
