2008 Events

Marine Matters had booths at two exciting community events during the summer of 2008. Queen Charlotte Hospital Day and the Tlell Fall Fair were both bright, sunny days with lots of Islanders coming out to participate in the fun.

In addition to community events, Marine Matters hosted a number of guest speakers in 2008. Participants learned about the Marine Mammal Response Network, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Protected Area and marine management in South Central Alaska. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in these workshops.
